UPCOMING 2011 CONCERTS
WHAT IS A HOUSE CONCERT?
A house concert is a chance to experience music in a warm and intimate environment. It's when someone opens up their home and invites you into their living room to share in a performance by one of their favorite musicians. It's a chance to meet the performers and get them to sign their CD. A house concert is also a great social evening of friends and neighbors.
Some House Concerts fill up a couple of weeks in advance, so please RSVP early. All House Concerts begin at 8:00 P.M. unless otherwise noted. A voluntary suggested donation of $15-$20 per person to the musicians is requested. Remember, 100% of all contributions go directly to the performers!

Saturday, October 29, 2011, 8pm - Jeni & Billy and
Nathan McEuen
Suggested Donation: $15
Jeni & Billy continue the tradition of the sweetheart duo, winning hearts with their genuine presence on stage and their true to life recordings with their authentic Appalachian roots musical style. This is either the most sophisticated simple music or the simplest sophisticated music you've ever heard.
Nathan McEuen describes himself mainly as a guitar playing singer-songwriter with good looks, a bit of charm and whole lot of modesty. In addition to the guitar, Nathan has been featured on stage playing drums, marimba, vibes, banjo, piano, bass, omni-chord, mouth-trumpet, and beat boxing. Some of Nathan’s performance highlights include: American Idol Season 8 Finale (w/ The Steve Martin Band), The Tonight Show with Jay Leno (w/ Hanna-McEuen), and The Grand Ole Opry.
Saturday, November 19, 2011, 8pm - Jaime Michaels and
Severin Browne
Suggested Donation: $15
Jaime Michaels is an engaging, emotional and energetic performer. Jaime tours extensively in the US and Europe and is now working to expand his touring to reach an even wider US audience. He's a first class singer-songwriter.
Severin Browne is a Los Angeles based singer-songwriter who got his start when he released two albums on the Motown label back in the mid 1970s. He's been a staple of the LA music scene for decades and did the first ever show for Russ & Julie's House Concerts back in Februarly 1997. We're always thrilled to have him back. Jaime and Severin are two of the finest singer-songwriters around; don't miss this show!
Saturday, December 3, 2011, 8pm - The Koles and John Batdorf
Suggested Donation: $15
The Koles are Arlene & Bill Kole with their daughter Skyeler. The December 2009 issue of Music Connection magazine named Arlene Kole in their HOT 100 list of the top live acts in the nation. Bill Kole is an award winning engineer producer who was distributed by A&M records in Canada. Skyeler Kole attended the Musicians Institute in Hollywood. She started singing studio sessions at age 11.
John Batdorf is best known as one-half of the '70s rock group Batdorf and Rodney. His band Silver had a hit with "Wham Bam Shang-A-Lang". He spent the '80s as a staff songwriter writing songs for America, England Dan, The Curry sisters and Kim Carnes. More recently he recorded All Wood And Stones with James Lee Stanley and has released several aclaimed solo albums. His latest effort, Old Man Dreamin' is a favorite of ours.
